Lacey awoke slightly later than usual because of the hatching the night 
before. It felt so good to be in her own bed rather than down on the 
hatching ground, and to be able to fly with Garnet again would be wonderful.

(Garnet? Fell like an quick flight before heading to breakfast?)

(Yes Lacey, it will feel good to fly with you astride me again)

Lacey quickly got herself cleaned up & then climbed aboard Garnet & they 
took off above the trees. Most of the warren was still asleep it seemed 
but signs of stirring showed Lacey this would have to be a short ride.

(Come on Garnet, time to go back)

Lacey sighed. She loved so much to be out & in the forest but she needed 
to be there to help her sister run the warren. Sometimes....

(Aren't you happy we joined, Lacey) 

(Of course I am...I just wish we didn't have responsibilites & we could 
be out more)

They landed near the dining hall & Garnet took off while Lacey went 
inside. She knew she had to make an effort.

She looked around. Most people seemed either very tired or hungover.

(Garnet, sometimes your sense of timing....)

(Hatchlings will be born whenever its time)

Lacey laughed & grabbed some breakfast & sat down. She saw Meena come in 
& Demee running to her. She smiled. She liked Meena. She also wished 
she'd find someone to make her happy again. She remembered the short time 
Devon had been here. So sad....

Lacey finished up her breakfast & headed for her sisters office to see 
what she needed for her to do today. She sighed again. It was such a 
beautiful day it was a shame to spend it cooped up inside, but she had 
her responsibilities & Naomi was having to tackle so much nowadays with 
Jaquel & D'Gerritt being so obstinate. She didn't undertsnad Naomi's 
problems with them, either as D'Gerritt had always been such a charming 
man to her.

She knocked on her sisters door. "Come in" Naomi replied. Lacey walked in 
& noticed that as well as Naomi A'shair was there.

"I can come back later, Naomi, if you want" Lacey said, knowing A'shair 
was uneasy around most people. She didn't understand why. He was such a 
nice young man.

She turned to A'shair & said "Btw, Garnet tells me I have you to thank 
for all the promt torch lighting last night. Thank you. She was pleased 
that her hatchlings came into this world surrounded by the light even 
though it was night."

NRPG: you two get to take over this conversation as I don't know your 
characters well enough yet....& this can occur at the beginning or end of 
A'shair being there.

Also, any who want to encounter Lacey at breakfast, write it in....she'll 
be friendly, she just doesn't appriach people herself very much
