Lacey had seen this drama unfold & didn't know what to do.

"Naomi!" she screamed in her head "Come to the dining hall immediatly. 
Meena's father is trying to steal Demme"

"What?" Naomi answered "Be right there. See what you can do in the meantime"

Lacey gathered all her courage & stepped in front of D'Gerrit & Lord Harkon

"You will not take this child from his mother" Lacey said firmly but 
calmly, all the while shaking in her boots.

(Garnet, please come here & tell Orobos to back off)

Garnet appeared near Orobos & he backed slightly away.

"What?" Lord Harkon exclaimed "Who are you to tell me what I can't 
do...you are just a little girl"

Lacey pulled herself up tall & proud. "I am Lacey, Queenrider to Garnet & 
second in the line of command after my sister Naomi, the Warrenlady"

lord Harkon turned to D'Gerrit "But...."

Lacey spoke up "But nothing, Lord Harkon. The Lady Jaquel does not have 
the authority to grant you custody of this child any longer. Naomi is the 
Warrenlady here, Besides, Sir, the child already shows dragon affinity & 
as such will be searched & stand as a candidate when he is of age."

Lord Harkon stood speechless. D'Gerrit was fuming. When did the 
"warrengirl" get the strength to stand up to someone?

"Lord Harkon, if you wish to discuss this with the Warrenlady, she will 
be here in a moment" Lacey continued "But as stated before, the child 
will stand as a candidate when he is able anyways, so taking him now will 
do nothing but cause your daughter harm & ill will between the warren & 
your holdings."

At this moment, Naomi walked thru the door.

"Lord Harkon" Naomi said "I am Naomi, The Warrenlady of Norwall, How may 
I help you?"
