Lacey turned to Meena, feeling much better now that Naomi was there to 
handle this. She whispered in her ear "Naomi wpn't let him take Demee. It 
will be alright." Then she said "Come on, Demee" & held out her arms. As 
he hesitated she grinned at him & said "Want to go for a ride on Garnet?"
He looked over at the big beautiful red dragon & held his arms out to Lacey.
"dittie" (NRPG: for those who don't speak toddlerese this is "pretty") he 
said, looking at Garnet.

Lacey saw Meena hesitate & then trusting Lacey & Naomi she reluctantly 
let go of her son. "Vonn can fly near us if you want to be able to make 
sure he's alright, Meena" Lacey said. Meena looked at her thankfully.

Lacey & Demee climbed onto Garnet & Lacey made sure Demee was strapped 
onto the dragon with some extra straps she had. "Ready, Demee?" she said

"Go, GO" Demee said, all his crying & the fighting already forgotten in 
the excitement of riding the big red dragon.

(Naomi, let me know if you need us. We are going on a ride)

They took off & Demee crowed in delight as Lacey saw Meena & Lord Harkon 
heading towards Naomi's office.
