(DL-N) Hearing a song...

Being dismissed from the Warrenlady's office with a quik bow, he fled
from the gaze of the Junior Queenrider. She was a beautiful young lady,
and he didn't want her to have to look at him. Since the sun was fully
in the sky, a trip outside could be disasterous, as well as deadly. He
made a short stop by the medical center, and told Lilianna that he would
check the hatchlings and see that they were healthy.

Getting some supplies, he covered his face under his deep hood and headed
for the Newly Joined Barracks. Walking inside, be began to check the
young dragons, speaking with some of riders, glad that they couldn't see
his face. The task took most of the day as he looked at scales and eyes
and other less mentionable places. He instructed some of the riders on
better care, and looking at the time, headed to watch the sunset.

He always loved to see the sun go down, the only time of the day when he
could truely watch it without it hurting him. The beautiful color always
filled him with a joy and peace that only the forest could come close
to. Standing by a window, he peered out, wary of the sunlight. Waiting
a few minutes, he opened the pane and leaned out. The sky was a
luminesent red and gold, streaked with oranges and pink. Sighing, he
suddenly heard someone singing in a beautiful voice. Listening to it, he
closed his eyes, drawing in the melodies, swiming in them.

Walking from his place at the window, he followed the song, and stopped a
few feet behind a young woman holding her dragon. It must have been one
he missed, a beautiful red hatchling that seemed to be healthy.

He listened to her song, not wanting to interupt her beautiful voice. As
she ended, he waited a while and spoke...

"That was beautiful." He said, making sure his face was hidden under the
hood of his cloak.

Soliel spun around, coming face to face with a stranger.
"Who are you?" Soliel said quietly, taken aback. She hadnt heard anyone
come up behind her, but then she had been so lost in the song She
smiled. "Im Soliel, this here is Firen."

"Firen is a beautiful name, very fitting for her..." A'shair said, moving
back into the shadows. "My name is A'shair, my dragon is Sirus." He
said, and could feel his skin blushing. He fought the urge to back away.
"Like I said before, I found your song very relaxing and you have a
wonderful voice." He said quietly. "I am an assistant to the healers and
need to check your dragon, if you will let me..."
