Startz landed with ease but was obviously having a slight trouble
breathing.

< This area will be ablaze soon>

Arwin nodded as she climbed off. Already she could fill the intense
heat and her burning eyes watered so bad that she could barely see a
few feet ahead of her.

< Just ahead is some water>

Arwin tried to locate what Startz spoke of but could not locate it. "
Lead me."

Instantly she felt her dragons presence and followed closely until
she felt the moisture at her feet.

Startz stopped hesitantly < I will be little help in this water, I
shall hover above and wait your call. If I see anything than I shall
let you know>

Arwin felt a fear grow inside. She did not wish to be left alone but
perhaps Startz was right. " Very well."

Startz shifted gracefully and in no time had left her side.

Arwin gathered herself and entered into the water.

< I see nothing yet...the smoke is so thick... I will go lower>

Be careful Arwin prayed as she so the flames rise. Arwin traveled in
one general direction.

< Try to your right> There was pain in Startz voice.

The heat must be to much for the young dragon Arwin thought. < Go to
higher my friend>

< But you need...> Startz began.

< Now> Arwin forced the words out. If Startz listened she did not
know.

Suddenly she caught sight of something ahead. By now everything ease
a blur but it looked roughly like that of a jacket or coat. She
approached it regardless of the close flames and realized that it
sheltered someone. Since she did not now what Hered looked like, she
hoped it was he.

"Hered?"

No answer. Arwin gently checked his pulse and was realized to find
one. He was badly hurt though and his breathing was shallow. Startz
was not there. Had she seen where Arwin had gone. If so then help may
come soon if not...

* Up Above*

Startz could no longer see Arwin and felt herself arriving to a panic.
She circled several times and tried to once again go lower but her
throbbing body would not comply. She remembered where she had been
last. She could feel that Arwin was still alive but scared. Anger
rised in her. What kind of dragon was she if she could not simply go
down and save her rider. She roared in anger and instantly heard
Arwin thoughts as she heard them...be at ease all will be well Arwin
said... Startz new only time could prove her hopes correct.
