{Day 11 Evening in front of T'rell's room}

<Snip from Ben>
"Well, we may have to sit him down and find out. We can't have things
like this happening ^ it freaks people out."

"Yeah, I'll talk to him tomorrow and see what I can find out."
<end snip>

Breezy nodded thoughtfully. Galen had mentioned T'rell was like this
most every night, which didn't sound good at all. The man must have
some serious demons driving him for an outburst like what she had just
witnessed. Breezy sure hoped Galen could get through to him.

"Your awfully thoughtful, another bad day," Galen asked.

"Aw, nothing a cornered tigress can't handle," Breezy grinned
remembering his reference from the previous night.

Galen returned the grin, "Anything I can help with?"

Sighing she shook her head, "Nah, nothing I can't handle and with S'ron
returning I guess that leaves me to help Jeneve and .......torment the
ground forces." The redhead stifled a giggle at the look on the
soldier's face. "I'm just teasing Galen, really I am!" Breezy couldn't
help but like this man his quiet no-nonsense manner made him easy to
talk to.

"You know on second thought there is something you might help me with.
Jeneve will need a courier, you pretty much know everyone, any
recommendations."

Galen thought for a moment, "You know, I just may have the right person
for the job."

Breezy smiled, "Great! I'll mention it to Jeneve in the morning! Well
once again it's getting late and since I heard the Norwall trainer is
death on tardiness so I'd better hit the sack, wouldn't want to be late
for training." Breezy turned to walk away, "Sleep well Galen."

{Day 12 Breezy's Apartment at Dawn}

The sun was just beginning to peek over the horizon filling the sky with
a riot of color, streaks of oranges and pinks blazed their way chasing
away the moon and its mantle of darkness.

A soft cooing drifted in from outside gently echoing off the stone walls
of Breezy's apartment. The redhead smiled at the familiar sound,
sipping her coffee she wandered out to the ledge.

*Hey Coo did you...."

A pigeon, lulled by the dragon's song landed on the scaly tail. Within
seconds the greenish dragon neatly inhaled it.

[Yes!] the dragon answered calmly looking at her rider as gray feathers
floated to the ground at Breezy's feet.

"Eeewww!" the woman exclaimed loudly scrunching up her face , *God I
hate when you do that! You sure now how to ruin a good cup of coffee."

Coo smacked her lips happily [Nothing wrong with a little snack before
breakfast!]

Breezy shuddered making another face. As she stroked the scaly green
ridges Coo nuzzled her riders leg with her large nose. Rider and dragon
watched the first rays of morning move across the sky towards them
causing Coo's shiny iridescent scales to come alive with a rainbow of
colors.

Staring out across the warren she said *So what have you got for me this
morning? You learn anything new?*

[Well there are some very handsome male dragons in this warren I'll have
you know. Of course none of them are truly worthy of my beauty.]

Breezy choked on her coffee. Sputtering she answered, *Listen Sister,
you're supposed to be finding out facts, not checking out the local
boys!"

Coo sighed, [Well there is nothing new to report, no need to get testy
about it. That Makron though is still asking lots of questions about
you.] Coo stuck her nose in the air and sniffed as if she smelled
something bad. [He is the least worthy of all!]

Breezy tried to act the proper sympathetic to Coo's obvious disdain of
the white dragon. *And why is that?*

Sniffing again Coo answered, [He insulted me, called me a name I'm not
familiar with but I could tell by the way he said it, it wasn't nice
though!]

The redhead arched her eyebrow curious what the white dragon could have
said that had upset the thick-skinned Coo so much, "And that is?*

[He said something about me having air in my head, which really doesn't
make sense, but I just know it's bad! He's just jealous is all, cause
I'm so beautiful and he's sooooo not worthy!]

Breezy could no longer stifle her amusement and laughter escaped her
lips. Sliding into the saddle the redhead said, *Uh-huh that's what all
you girls say!*

As the greenish dragon spread her wings, she dropped off the ledge
snorting indignantly [Well he's not!]

The sound of Breezy's chuckles floated on the air as the two glided
gracefully downward.

{Day 12 Very Early Morning in Jeneve's Office}

Jeneve filled the Sr. Wingleader's coffee cup, small fingers of steam
rose upward filling the air with the smell of the delicious brew.
Breezy inhaled the fine aroma, "Mmm nothing better than a good cup of
coffee to start the day." Laying down the paperwork she had brought
with her she looked at the Warrenlady, "Well Boss what else do you have
for me!" Jeneve's eyes widened at Breezy's reference, the redhead
grinned at the slightly horrified expression on the Warrenlady's face.
""Jeneve it's ok I was just teasing, you need to relax, lighten up a
little."

"It..it's just..well, I'm still not used to being.....," an embarrassed
look came across Jeneve's face, sighing she looked at the other woman,
"Well you know."

Breezy laughed, "Don't worry about it, it just takes time! You'll have
the hang of it before you know it. Each day it will get a little
easier." The younger woman looked rather doubtful and it was obvious
she was very tense. "Hey that's what I'm here for, with S'ron back I'll
have time to more to hang out with you. First things first though, I do
think you need a courier. With....uh.... Hilda that was her name,"
Breezy said snapping her fingers. "With Hilda gone to Tinobel I think
it's something you need to think about as soon as possible."

Jeneve nodded, "I was wondering about that. But who...how do I know who
to get. I mean....."

Breezy was sure the incident with Kalena had shaken the young woman as
Jeneve seemed very worried now about making decisions and god forbid a
mistake. Not that she personally agreed with the method but Kalena
probably did Jeneve a favor. At the rate she was going though Jeneve
would worry herself into an early grave over it. The redhead refilled
her cup then leaning against Jeneve's desk a mischievous smile edged her
lips, "Well there should be some requirements of course."

"Oh, of course!" Jeneve said seriously grabbing a pencil and paper.

"Nothing against Hilda now, but a male would do well too. Well built of
course," Breezy bit her lip to stifle the laughter that was threatening
as she watched the young woman. Grabbing a chair she swung it around
and straddling it set her cup down on the edge of the desk. Jeneve was
looking at the paper with an odd expression on her face.

"And don't forget, tall, dark and handsome, dreamy eyes, lips to die for
and the most important thing.....a great butt."

Jeneve's eyes were huge as she looked up at the older woman. Breezy's
eyes were sparkling with unspent laughter. The young blonde realizing
she was teasing giggled lightly visibly relaxing a little, her cheeks
slightly red at the woman's rather brash description. The women were
still laughing when Antwin walked through the door.

"Good Morning Ladies!"

Breezy's eyes widened as she took in the man from head to toe. Rising
from the chair she said pleasantly, "Hi I'm Breezy I don't believe we've
met." Turning back towards Jeneve she grinned brightly and mumbled
softly, "Whoa! Ask and you shall receive," at which Jeneve choked on
her coffee.

After introductions were made Breezy excused herself. Turning in the
doorway she said seriously, "Oh Jeneve, about the courier don't worry, I
think Galen may have solved the problem."

Leaving the offices she went to Coo and pulled her sword off her
saddle. She had a few minutes before she met Galen and decided to warm
up a bit. Walking through the buildings she went behind looking for an
isolated area. Breezy was sure that Galen would put her through the
paces and she wanted to be at least a little ready. She had grown soft
with the peace and tranquility of the beach for the last couple of
months.

*Getting lazy girl!* she thought to herself as she did several
stretching exercises. Spending time with the Carny people when she was
younger Breezy had learned a lot about staying limber and using her
natural agility to extreme advantage. Her workouts invigorated her as
much now as it did then.

Off in her own little world Breezy kept working on one particular back
flip, she was using an old stump as a launching point. For some reason
her timing was just a little and she wasn't sure why. Repeating the
move several times she finally thought she had the problem worked out.
Breezy was taking one last run at the stump when she saw Galen watching
her. His appearance startled the redhead and she missed her step up,
losing her balance Breezy fell backwards landing hard on her backside.

As she rose Breezy looked at the man shaking her head. "I can't believe
I let you distract me like that," she chuckled painfully rubbing her
backside. Picking up her scabbard she said, "You know I owe you an
apology."

Surprise crossed the soldier's face, "Why?"

"The other night, well I was a bit short and I am sorry, I realize you
were just trying to be helpful!" Breezy half-smiled staring up at the
man, her huge blue eyes made her look like more like a lost child than a
seasoned rider. "Also, I really want to thank you for you vote of
confidence, it means a lot."

Galen nodded, as the two walked towards the training area. "How's the
side doing," he asked without looking at her.

"Nash is a miracle worker, of course." Breezy answered almost too
jovially.

Arriving at the training grounds they were early enough that the area
was empty and the small woman and the larger man squared off.

[..] little while later

The trainees started showing up so Breezy and Galen finished up. Breezy
was pleased with the fact that she hadn't made too poor of showing. At
least the redhead thought she hadn't anyway, her one saving grace was
her speed and agility. She was extraordinarily strong for her size but
that wasn't something that was always necessary when swinging a sword.
Galen had been very patient and had shown her some different moves,
which she had enjoyed. Anything to improve herself was always a welcome
lesson in Breezy's book

T'rell appeared and walked past without a word and Breezy couldn't help
wrinkling her nose up at the man. He looked awful, he smelled and his
eyes had a terribly haunted look about them. Doubt filled her own eyes
as she glanced up at the man standing next to her. "He doesn't look
very well and after last night......lord Galen he stinks to high heaven
can't you get him to take a bath, maybe throw him in the lake or
something. Accidentally of course," she added a little mischievously.

Galen stifled a grin at the face Breezy made, "I will talk to him about
it."

Noticing that T'rell was staring at her she returned the stare casually
until he turned back to the trainees.

"You know Galen, Coo has trained with ground forces before. She's
pretty accurate with her tail, and she's real good at controlling her
flame in close quarters, it would just be a matter of working her with
the guys," Breezy said thoughtfully watching the men assemble. She
felt the large man's dark eyes staring down at her oddly, chewing her
lip the little redhead added, "It..it was just a thought."

Breezy looked up at Galen as the trainees started pairing off, before
she could say anything a familiar voice spoke almost in her ear making
her jump.

"Does our new Senior Wingleader need a sparring partner!" S'ron said,
his voice tinged with sarcasm.

Breezy tensed instantly and swung around her eyes flashing, "Would you
stop sneaking up on me!"

S'ron chuckled, "And you didn't answer the question." He looked down at
Breezy his eyes filled with challenge.

At times like this Breezy always wished she was a lot taller. It was a
little hard being intimidating when the person you wanted to intimidate
was taller than you. Pulling herself up to her full five foot four she
said, "Well Galen and I have already had a good workout but I could
probably go another round if I didn't think it would honestly turn into
a grudge match."

Breezy's blue eyes returned the challenge. "You know S'ron I've imagine
you have some pretty good moves and good very well teach me some."
Shaking her head, "But considering the circumstances I doubt very much
that's possible at the moment. I don't think it would be beneficial if
the Wingleaders ended up trying to beat each others brains out just to
prove a point."

[Have you lost your mind! You're already starting to hurt from your
wound.] Coo's worried voice filled her mind.

*Go away!*

[You need to stop! It's too much!]

*Probably* the woman answered stubbornly.

[Hmmph, and you call me clueless!] the green dragon snorted.
