[Day 10: Late Evening]

With his sword on Galen's throat, Mentorn finally saw through the blackness 
and realised who's throat he was scratching.

"Galen!!"

"Yes Mentorn... and I had no idea you were a swordsman, though your weapon 
is rather unusual."

"Yes," Mentorn smiled, amused at the connotations, "I've heard that a lot."

"Perhaps you would care to demonstrate sometime for the class?"

"Perhaps," he said doubtfully. "There are some things which are best kept to 
yourself."

[Day 10: Very late]

Mentorn thought about Kaymann's plan... or lack of it. It would be difficult 
to get out of the warren without suspicion. How could it be accomplished!?

"We need to contact Marssell... find out more about this little game he 
wants us to play. We can do that without leaving the warren. Once we find 
out what his treasure is, we may need to research it a little... local 
libraries, that sort of thing. Being dragonriders may help us gain access to 
some archives and hinder with others. Luckily, I'm not well known around 
here as either and can pay for information." He smiled.

"Once we know a little more, hopefully in a day or two, we can set off. 
There's a lot of upheaval at Norwall and it's not likely to get any less 
very soon. I bet we could slip off at some point in the melee and never be 
noticed. When we get back... well, I'm sure we can think of something, 
aren't you?"

Kaymann smiled. "OK, we'll play it your way. But all that research..."

"Don't worry... I'll do that. I know the sort of stuff we might need to look 
for. For now though, play it cool. I think that in a couple of days, we can 
quite easily be on our way."

The two parted and Mentorn had a well earned rest.

[Day 11: Late Evening]

Apart from his training duties, Mentorn spent the day looking around 
libraries for information on local legends for items of interest. 
Unsurprisingly, most of the material related to dragons in one way or 
another. There were a few interesting items related to 'The Deathwalker 
Cult' who seemed to have a long and prosperous history around Norwall. He 
wondered if perhaps one of their religous artifacts could be a target... 
there was one in particular that intrigued him...

There was no way of knowing until he met Marssell. It was strange. Although 
he had not heard the name before and did not especially recognise the 
description, there was something familiar about the man even though he had 
not seen him. He somehow knew that when he did finally catch up with 
Marssell, the man would know who Mentorn was.

NRPG:

This post is a bit lame, but it sets up an idea for the treasure I have and 
gets Mentorn on to Day 12... anything important may be back-filled later.
