[DL-N] It's a hero's life

Day 17, morning
Cat's room,
<snip from Wil's post.>

Cat sat down beside him and punched him in the arm. "Well clean
yourself up, hero, cause we have a lot of people to help today."

"Fine." Kaymann threw the blankets off and walked into the bathroom.
Cat slapped his naked ass as he walked by.

"Hey, you had your chance."

<end snip>

Cat raised one eyebrow.

"Go on," she said. "Get into that bathroom and get yourself looking
suitably handsome, then. Can't have you disappointing all your
admirers."

Cat lay back on the bed, watching Kaymann's naked form approvingly, as
he proceeded, with a slight swagger in his walk, towards the bathroom
to get washed.

Not that she'd ever *want* him to know she was admiring him, though.
That would never do...

"You'd become *quite* unbearable!* Cat whispered to herself, stifling
a giggle.

"What was that?" Kaymann's voice drifted back, over the sound of
running water.

"Nothing..." she said, sweetly. What was it about men? When you had
something important to say and you *wanted* them to listen to you,
they acted like they'd got cotton wool stuffed in their ears, yet when
you *didn't* want them to hear something, it was a different matter.

**********
Kaymann strolled out of the bathroom, towelling his long dark hair
dry. After he'd dressed, Cat, mimicking an attendant valet, held out
his long leather coat for him to put on.

"Are you *finally* ready, Mr Hero?" she asked, teasingly, as she stood
up on tiptoe to kiss his cheek. "I think your adoring fans will be
waiting to see you,"
