[DL-R] Hello Linaya

*Jaewyn*
He looked up from his papers, the candle illuminating the lines of his face,
as the soldier hesitantly knocked on his door.
"Sir..."
"What is it?" Jaewyn snapped, angry at being interupted.
"The girl...that we've been looking for-"
"Ahhh..." Jae grinned and nodded. "The tasty little witch... Well...where
is she?"
"Waiting in a holding cell downstairs... I didn't know if you would want to
meet with her or not tonight.."
Jaewyn nodded and stood, placing his papers carefully away before walking
past the guard.
"Where did you find her?"
"Well...sir..."
"Was she hiding out in the forest? I just knew that we were so close out
there..."
"No...sir... actually....she surrendered herself-"
"Surrendered?" Jaewyn frowned.
"Yes..." the guard nodded. "She came into the castle-"
"She....walked....right into this castle... and gave herself up?" Jaewyne
repeated slowly.
His companion nodded nervously underneath Jae's glare.
"Imbecile..." Jaewyn mumbled gruffly as he pushed past the other man.
"Bring her out...to me... Clean her up some. If she's been hiding out in
the woods she'll need it. And get the cook to bring something out..."
Jaewyn walked into a small study, dusty books lining the shelves built into
the walls. He would question the witch...and perhaps have a litte fun with
her as well before tucking her away back into the cell.

<NRPG: Yes, I know that someone wrote Linaya escaping; however, I thought
it would be good to have Jaewyn meet with her first. I hope this works for
everyone and with what I've read. Let me know if not. And I know it's
short....I'm trying to get back into the swing of things>

You expected to be sad in the fall. Part of you died
each year when the leaves fell from the trees and
their branches were bare against the wind and the
cold, wintry light. But you knew there would always
be the spring, as you knew the river would flow again
after it was frozen.
-- A Moveable Feast, Ernest Hemingway
