After Breakfast

After feeding the girls yet again, Tahlaya walked out to meet the rest
of the hatchling's and riders for thier first day of exercises.

Sabbith was causing mirth amongst the group with his comic antics.

He kept nipping at his brothers and sisters, much to Kay's dismay. The
little red also seem to like getting between Ipsy and Sunny's necks.
On more than one occassion she heard them squeak with pleasure but at
the same time scold the little fellow.

She also realised that she had the only dragon that could give real
hugs. They wrapped their necks round Sabbith and refused to let go
till the little red devil  promised to leave them alone.

Domino and Sabbith looked an odd pair as the played tag.
The big black dragon with tiny white dots and the tiny red dragon
chasing each others tails. Domino knocked Sabbith over with his snout
and Kay tried to hide a smile behind his hands as his dragonet tumbled
over. He came waddling over to his deaf human and nuzzled him.

By the end of the mornings training everyone knew the sign for 'I'm
sorry'.

When  lunch was called they were all feeling tired. The little dragons
were, as usual, bottomless pits and H'nry had the meat bought out to
them. 

Their table manners had alot to be desired still but they were
improving.

Tahlaya caught her two fighting over the same scrap again,

<Will you two never learn. We work as a team, not adversaries.Now
please try and share without the squabling.> 
She saw the group were laughing as she shrugged her shoulders as their
reply was heard  by the dragons who relayed it to their human's.

H'nry walked over to Tahlaya.

"We will need to get a saddle made for the girls. In the mean time
I'll see if I can find any larger ones for them. We may have to pad it
under the shoulders to stop it chaffing the hide."

"Thanks H'nry," Tahlaya sighed. She wondered if they would ever
co-operate with each other.

The young man smiled at her as if he read her mind.

"Don't worry, things will get easier once they are grown and are
flying. Like all small children, they are bound to fight with each
other."

She looked towards her dragon, their faces covered in bits of meat.
They looked so comical. Ipsy had a piece hanging from her left eye
ridge and Sunny had bits stuck to her snout. She couldn't stay angry
with them for long, especially when they started to clean each other
up.

<What am I going to do with you two?> 
Smiling she rubbed the skin between the two necks. It was warm and the
scales faded down their back in waves yellows and reds.

They nuzzled at her.

Well what a surprise a short post ! :)

Not much added I'm afraid, but I felt I had to post as I'm away for a
week come Friday.

So feel free to use Tahlaya and the girls.
