[DL/TL] - Here begins the tale

Sweat poured off Dameon's young body. Overhead a flapping could be heard.
But Dameon was concentrating on his heartbeat. He had noticed it was ever
so diffluent in it's rate. Ever since the accident when he first arrived
here. Perhaps he should tell someone? Danielle? No, he wasn't sure.
The forest flew past him as he bounded over a fallen tree. he landed hard
and rolled forward, only to spring up and continue on the path.
A full two hours later he stopped, but only for weapons practice. He laid
out seven blue steel throwing knives in front of him. A distance away a
great tree stood. It's trunk was wide and strong. In the center of the
trunk, hung a large leaf, his target. Dameon examined each knife very
carefully, remembering even the slightest new gouge in their fine steel.
Replacing the knives on his body, he stared at the target, then closed his eyes.
'Themis, I want to try something.'
()I know I know.()
The medium sized trouble maker landed next to his rider, and also looked at
the target.

Dameon opened his eyes. All on the large leaf, and the bulk of them in the
center of it.
()You missed that ant crawling on the bark.()
"Really?" Dameon spoke aloud as he tackled the blue spark.
If anyone had been walking threw the forest and had heard the following
wrestling match, they would have sworn the participants were brothers. Until...

"Hey! Watch it! No spiting lightning you overgrown firebug!"
As Dameon got off the ground a deer shot out from a nearby brush, Themis had
obviously spooked the beast. Dameon was instantly after it, chasing it
threw the brush. Themis climbed back into the sky, as he wouldn't fit in
the forest.
The deer started to pull away, and Dameon's hands moved quickly as he
unattached and threw his bolo at the deer. The bolo hurtled forward end
over end until it wrapped itself around the legs of the deer.
After releasing the Deer Dameon returned and got his knives from the tree.
'Themis, where is Danny?'
()She is home, Violet says she is about to goto sleep.()
'Humm, it is getting late, and we missed that beach party, damn. Oh well,
lets head back.'
Upon arriving at his home Dameon indeed did find Danielle asleep. So he
jumped into the river and bathed. Themis crawled into the cave and laid
down next to Violet and her rider. A few minutes later Dameon came up, only
to find Themis had stolen his spot. Now he would sleep directly next to
Danielle. He paused...then continued to get into bed.
'She won't care...I hope.'
The hay had been bundled a little better, allowing sheets to be tucked,
making a huge corner of the cave one of the biggest mattress ever. Dameon
pulled a sheet over himself. Tomorrow he would go into town and use what
money he had to buy a new set of cloths. He had noticed how people looked
at his attire. That was when he began to fall asleep. Funny how nothing is
ever that simple.
