Teslin was hitting her. He had ahold of her arm and his other hand was 
reaching back to strike her in the face again when Danielle woke up 
screaming "No!"

Daemon, who had been beside her awoke, grabbing for his knives and 
immediatly coming to his feet. He then realized that what had woken 
Danielle was a nightmare rather than a real threat. He knelt down beside 
her and took her in his arms, holding her as she trembled.

"He was hitting me" Danielle sobbed. "I am so afraid of him"

Daemon held her and said "He won't hurt you again, not as long as I am 
alive."

Danielle seemed to calm down at his words and sho looked into his eyes. 
She saw the sincerity there and she leaned closer into him as his arms 
tightened around her more, holding her close. She didn't know why, but it 
seemed like the right thing to do so she lightly kissed him on the mouth. 
The look of pleased surprise in his eyes caused her to again kiss him, 
this time parting his lips with her tongue and kissing him deeply. She 
pulled him back towards the bed as she kissed him, wanting to erase the 
memories of Tes and start new ones.

She undid his shirt, trailing her fingers down his bare chest, bringing 
shivers of delight. Her mouth followed were her fingers had just left, 
his hands stroking her hair as he moaned with pleasure.

She stopped for a moment, drawing her shirt over her head, leaving her 
breasts shining in the moonlight. He tentatively reached for them 
stroking them lightly. Danielle gasped with pleasure. She was now naked, 
but he was still wearing his trousers. Danielle reached down and slowly 
undid the buttons sliding them down.

"Danielle?" Daemon started to ask

"Shhhhh.....just enjoy" Danielle whispered as their bodies melded into one.
