[DL-T] A Stary Sky
by

H'nry sat on the ledge of his apartment with his legs hanging out over the
edge. He would occationaly look down at the bowl of the Warren. Here and
there lights shown in apartments around and below him. Mostly he looked up
toward the sky. The night was clear and cool and hundreds of stars shone in
the hevens.
Mostly H'nry thought about the events of the day and how he'd almost lost his
new partner. He also thought about the Shadow. He was clever, H'nry granted
that much, but he'd eventually slip and H'nry wanted to be there when that
happened.
*Dalanth, are you asleep?* H'nry reached out with his mind.
<No, your mental gymnastics are keeping me awake,> Dalanth replied sleepily.
*Something about the Shadow is bothering me.*
<I noticed. What?>
*He seemed familiar, somehow. And his dragon was just about your size.*
<That's not unusual. I'm not exceptionally large.>
*For a warren bred dragon. You are quite a bit larger than Themis who is a
wild dragon.*
<So.>
*So I don't think that dragon hatched in the wild. I think it hatched in a
warren.*
<Ok, which warren?>
*How would I know? But ophelia is going to an assembly tomorrow. I'll try to
catch her before she leaves. She can ask the other Warrenladies if they've
had any riders go rogue lately. I'd really like to know who that was.*
NRPG:
Lyn, & Cat: How much am I allowed to screw up whatever you have planned at
this point? If I were really evil, Dalanth would spread through the dragon
gossip circuit the notion that the Shadow's dragon was hatched at a warren.
It is likely that some-dragon would recall Trap's green. On the other hand,
this conversation could remain private. Then H'nry will only make the
connection by meeting Tera and seeing her eyes. That's a decision I've
already made. H'nry WILL NOT spontaneously remember Trap on his own.
Respectfully submitted,
H'nry - Dalanth
