[DL-T] Assembling on the Green

*Dalanth, are the others on the way?*, H'nry asked.

<I think so, Dianthus said she'll be there in a few minutes. Tarlith is
already there and wants to know what's taking us so long. Sunburst and
Eclipse are coming. I think Sabbith is coming as well. I'm not sure who else
will be there, but I think others as well.>

*Excellent, I just need one thing.* H'nry slid down from Dalanth's back and
walked across the entry ledge of his apartment. There was a closet set in the
back wall that H'nry opened and stepped inside. He emerged a moment later
strapping on a thick leather belt. Hanging from the belt was a thick iron
bound mace.

H'nry swung up into the saddle and thought, *Ok, now I'm ready.*

Dalanth turned around on the ledge and launched himself into the air. They
landed on the green next to M'rtin and Sabrina.

"What took so long, you're the one throwing this party?" M'rtin asked
abruptly.

"I had to get something," H'nry said patting the handle of the mace, "in case
the locals give us trouble. I see you grabbed your hammer," H'nry said
gesturing to the warhammer strapped to Tarlith's saddle.

"I was also worried about trouble from the locals," M'rtin replied.

H'nry heard, rather than saw a rapier blade whip through the air. Sabrina was
sitting atop Daffodil with the sword in her hand, smiling, "What," she said,
"only you boys are allowed to be armed?"

Dianthus settled lightly on the green next to Dalanth. Lyonnia looked at the
arms the three were carrying, "I'm unarmed. Should I get a sword or
something?"

"Do you know how to use one?" H'nry asked.

"No, not exactly," Lyonnia replied.

"Then you're better off without one. We don't expect any trouble when a few
dragons land in the center of town, but you never know what will happed. Just
stay near me or Dianthus. One of us will keep you safe," H'nry said.

Other dragons landed a few at a time until 20 dragons were sitting in the
afternoon sun on the green. After they'd all exchanged greetings, Dalanth led
them into the sky.

NRPG:

If you're part of this little expedition, please chime in. I'd appreciate if
someone else would get us to the village. It's in the mountains near Glosby
(SSW of the warren).

I like a nice wild goose chase now and then.

                            Respectfully submitted,
                                H'nry - Dalanth
