When the call came out for any Rider and their dragon's to join the group
led by H'nry, for the raid on the raider village, Tera and Ga'brin had just 
sat down to enjoy their evening meal. 

The look of horror in her eyes had her mate up and out of his chair coming
around to her side of the table, before their dragon pair had completed the 
message.

"We have to stop it somehow," Tera told her mate, her green eyes wide in
horror. "Or somehow warn Trap. He can't be caught before he finishes this 
plan of his. He can't.."

Ga'brin pulled her close, his arms moved around her to give her what comfort
he could, when he spoke his deep voice vibrated in her ear.

"We can't stop the raid love. It'd cause to many questions if we even try,"
he told her in all honesty. "I can only imagine how you must feel, but we 
can't do anything."

Tera pulled slightly away, but not completely out of his strong arms.
Annoyance danced in her eyes as she looked up at him.

"No, I can't stop it, I know that," she admitted reluctantly, knowing
Ga'brin was right. "But I can go with them just to make sure nothing happens 
to him if he is caught there."

"Are you sure that's wise, because of the baby?" he asked, pulling her snug
against his solid form. Another more disturbing thought crossed his mind, 
but he pushed it away, after all Tera was a rider of a fighting dragon, and 
her lessons with her patrol partner, F'gon, were coming along fine.  Ga'brin 
had to trust her to know what she was doing.

Tera leaned against him, letting him support her, as she tried to come up
with the words to explain how she felt. 

"I have to go, love. Trap's my brother. He's all I have next to you and this
baby," she said, taking his hand and placing it over her stomach. "I want 
our baby to know his or her uncle."

Ga'brin's glaze was tender as his eyes met hers, a slow smile spread
acrossed his face as he moved his long fingers from the slight roundness of 
her belly into the lose waves of her sunny blond hair, titled her head back, 
just before taking her lips in a possessive kiss.

"If we're going to go, I suggest you go braid your hair," he ordered softly,
when he'd finally released her lips, a smile of satisfaction tugged at the 
corner of his mouth when he noticed her flushed complexion. "I need to be 
able to keep my mind on the raid and my imagination away from the 
interesting things you come up with to do to me with that sexy blond hair of 
yours."

"Just you wait love," Tera smiled back at him, a wildly wicket light
twinkling in her green eyes, "When this is over... I'll show you just how 
lacking your imagination has been up to now."

She ducked away when his hand shot out to snag her, slipping past him just
quick enough to reach the bathing room. The sassy look she threw over her 
shoulder left him groaning and wishing the rest of the Warren and everyone 
in it away.

When she was out of sight, Ga'brin sent a thought to Preston, asking the
royal blue dragon to contact Dinnan's rider and tell him, Tera and 
Sundellath would be going on the raid with everyone else. 

<< After that please inform Gushine's rider C'rispin that I'll be partnering
her this trip.>> Because, he told himself, there was no way he would let her 
go on the raid by herself. The Shadow may have warned his men to stay away 
from her, but there was no way to be sure they would listen.  Tera might 
still be in danger.

Minutes later, Tera came out of their bedroom, dressed in the midnight blue
leather flight jacket with the matching pants, he had given her after her 
first solo flight. A picture of Sundellath, done in a lighter shade of blue 
was on the back, stripes of a sky blue color, had been added to match the
dragons own markings.

Gods above she was beautiful, he thought as she came to stand before him.
Her hair, he noticed had been braided back and then pinned up into a bun at 
the back of her neck.  When this was over, and they were home again....

"Ready love?" he heard her ask. "Sundee said everyone is meeting down on the
green for last minute directions."

Tera was looking around, trying to see who else had responded to the call
for raiders, when she saw Kay wave to her. She waved back and signed for him 
to be careful. He just smiled back and told her to be doubly careful, 
placing his hand over his stomach and pointing at her. 

Off in the air, out of the corner of her eye, she saw the lavender dragon,
Violet, that was joined with her friend Danielle. Tera had thought they were 
about to land next to Sundellath, when suddenly the Lavender dragon turned 
sharply and flew to the far side of the green, away from them.

<<Sundee, will you ask Violet to let her rider know I need to talk with her
soon? Tell her I have a personal message for her rider, that someone else 
asked me to give her.>>

Alton, wait just a little bit until H'nry sees Tera's eyes up close, I'd 
like to have him find out about the "Switch" of the big caravan first..... 
when he's really good and mad at the Shadow.... 

And what will Sandor's reaction to her going be? Not that he could stop her
except by direct order.

And I'm sorry to all of you for the trouble I'm having with my server. I 
can't tell you when the problem will be fixed because they can't tell me. I 
just want to thank my friend Elizabeth for allowing me to use her e-mail 
acc. during this whole mess. Thanks to her the reports that have been in the 
papers lately about all the headless small animals being found in my 
neighborhood have been dropped to the last page as old news.......*evil hee hee*
