Barn in radiers village.

"Have you found anything?" Tahlaya called as she came out from behind
a large bale of straw.

"Apart from a few chickens, a sheep or two, nothing."

Storm strode over towards the young woman,   hay sticking out from her
hair.  He had liked it better when she wore it long and  braided, it
made her look innocent. But now it was short she looked more mature.
He sighed mentally and gently pulled a golden sheaf from her hair.

She smiled and chewing on the end of some straw she commented,

"Did you see many cows or horses?"

Her companian walked next to her out of the barn.
"No. Why?"

"Just seems strange that..." She didn't have time to finished her
train of thought when she heard the roar.

<Sunny, Ipsy, what was that?> she knew Storm would be asking the same
of his dragon.

{ Someone was trying to hurt Sabbi's rider.}
*And he flamed the human*

<Dear Gods!> Tahlaya's mind was in turmoil.

Running, with Storm fast behind her, she asked her girls,

<Kay? What about Kay? Is he alright?>

{* We think so, Violet's rider is with him. We are with Sabbith.*}

The couple ran round a corner, Tahlaya saw the girls, necks entwined
with Sabbith, the red dragon, keening.

She pushed her way through the gathered crowd. 

"Stop ya pushin, I wers 'ere afore ..." the man didn't finish as he
looked to see who was shoving him. 

The two armed riders didn't have to push as others realised who they
were, they moved aside. Once free, Tahlaya made her way towards Kay
and Danielle. Storm made his way over to H'nry.

"Kay, are you alright?" she signed frantically at the young lad. He
was white as a sheet, the blood trickling from the corner of his mouth
didn't help either. 
She could see something smouldering behind Kay and knew what it was. 
She shuddered.

"Danielle are you hurt? " the antagonism between them forgotten, she
gently pulled the two of them away from the stench of the corpse.

"I... I.." unable to control her shaking, Danielle nodded.

B'larin made his way over to them.

"Here drink this." He pressed a bottle up to the blond girl's lips.

She coughed as the firey liquid hit the back of her throat. He then
handed it to Kay. It had the same effect on him. He offered it to
Tahlaya. She declined  by shaking her head. 
"I need to see H'nry. "

B'larin patted her hand,

"Go on lass. I'll keep an eye on these two."

Tahlaya gave Kay a hug and a kiss on the cheek, and looking at
Danielle, saw the shock in her face. She gave the young woman a hug.

"It's alright, Danielle, you're safe."

Tahlaya blotted out the noise of the assembled crowd as she made her
way over to H'nry and Lyonnia. A familiar noise overhead made her look
up.

Spiralling down behind H'nry was Themis and Dameon.

"What the..." 

Running towards the dark blue dragon she shouted,

"Dameon, what the hell are you doing here?"
