> Kattibrie's looked after Tera as she juggled child and bags. "I think I'm
> going to help her," Kattibrie said, kissing Kay softly, "I'll be back in a
> bit."
H'nry and Kay watched Tera and then Kattibrie walk away. H'nry turned
back to Kay, shook his head and smiled, *She'll get her way eventually.
Women are good at that.*
*Kitty wouldn't get pregnant without me agreeing first,* Kay responded.
*I'm sure she woudn't. When it happens you'll know about it and support
her, but it will happen.*
*You really think so?*
*I know so. Men are very impatient. We want things now. Women are
much more patient. They take the long view. You don't want children
now, but Kitty will work on you, slowly. Someday she'll suggest it, and
you will support her. She'll win in good time, and when it happens
you'll make a great father.*
*What about you?* Kay said trying to change the subject, *I saw you
holding Treb. You'd be a good father, too.*
H'nry shrugged, *It may happen. I hope it happens. Right now Retala
and I are trying to enjoy being with each other.*
*How is she?*
*Right now she's doing fine, but there's a black cloud looming on the
horizon. It's like a spring storm. You can see it coming from a long
way in the distance, but you just don't know when it's going to arrive.*
*I'm here if you need to talk,* Kay signed with a soft smile.
H'nry laughed, *Now you're starting to sound like me. Thanks Kay.*
NRPG:
Just a short one before heading out for Canada. I wrote most of it
yesterday, and wanted to get it out.
Rob: Welcome to Telnor. Most of us have been here since the warren was
founded, so don't be intimidated by the closeness between the
characters. Just jump in and post :)
Respectfully submitted,
