A knock sounded on the stout wooden door.

"Go away," Bull bellowed as Kitty paused to exhale her warm breath on him.

"Kitty! Are you in there?" H'nry called.

"No!" she yelled in response, "Go away!"

H'nry tried to turn the door knob, but found it locked. Kitty could hear his
foot steps retreating down the corridor.

She smiled a wicked smile at Bull and said coyly, "Now we can get back to what
we were doing before."

Suddenly they heard a pounding outside the room, and realized it was someone
running.

H'nry put his shoulder down and crashed through the wooden door. Chunks of
wood were launched into the room, and two landed on Kitty's back.

She exclaimed in surprise as H'nry stumbled into the room and tumbled to the
floor.

Bull roared with rage and tried to spring from the bed. Kitty was thrown from
on top of him and landed in a heap on the floor next to the bed.

Bull stormed over to H'nry and kicked him ineffectively in the back with a
bare foot. After realizing that he was hurting himself more than H'nry, Bull
bent over to drag H'nry to his feet.

H'nry saw him coming and rolled out of reach. The former smith grabbed a
stout, former piece of the door and came up swinging. The flat of the board
connected with the side of Bull's head and snapped.

Bull looked wide eyed at H'nry for a moment before collapsing into a heap on
the floor.

H'nry stepped over to him and nudged him with the toe of his boot. When Bull
didn't respond, H'nry turned his attention to Kitty.

"You bastard!," she shouted as she struggled to her feet. "I was having a
good time and now I'm all bruised and battered!"

H'nry pulled a blanket from the foot of the bed and wrapped it around Kitty as
she struggled to get away from him. "You'll probably hate me a bit less in
the morning," he said pointedly.

He picked her up, tossed her over his shoulder and walked downstaris to the
bar. As they descended the stairs, Kitty began shouting curses at him and
pounding on his back. H'nry paused at the bar and tossed a gold crown on its
top. "That's for the blanket and the damages," he said to the bar tender.

H'nry stepped out into the cool, night air with the struggling queen rider
over his shoulder. He walked over to Dalanth and said to Kitty, "If you stop
struggling, I'll let you ride in front of me. If you don't, I'll toss you
over the saddle like bagage."

"I hate you!" Kitty shouted, and she launched into another string of curses.

H'nry shrugged and tossed Kitty across his saddle. Then he mounted behind
her. Dalanth sprung into the air without being told, and Calishandra followed
behind. Dalanth climbed rapidly and Kitty, looking down at the ground,
screamed.

A few hundred feet up, Kitty retched loudly.

*Tell me you're still clean,* H'nry pleaded.

{She missed me,} Dalanth replied.

*I'm so happy to hear that.*

{Are we bringing Kitty home?}

*Is Kay there?*

{Sabbith says that he isn't.}

*Then we'd better bring her to our apartment,* H'nry said.

A few minutes later Dalanth landed and H'nry put Kitty in his bed. Despite
her continued protests, she fell asleep within minutes and H'nry fell asleep
on the couch in his clothes.

NRPG:
I want to appologize for my extended absence from Telnor. Too much RL stuff
going on of late. If I do this again, I'm going to send H'nry off in search
of Kay :)

Morgie: So, what will Kitty think inthe morning?

  Respectfully submitted,
  H'nry - Dalanth
