am Subject: [DL-T] A little Trip.
Day 5. Noon.
The tremors have ceased for a while. The earth was rather quiet since the
morning panic.
Kerrick was bored again.
He's made three more friends now, though he wasn't sure about Soucivi. He
couldn't quite put his finger on it, but there was something about Soucivi.
Feeling a sudden urge to DO something, Kerrick decided it be best if he walked
around the warren a bit and explore.
Something on the north cought his eye. He decided to head there.
North of the unjoined apartments, Kerrick walked a few hundred meters.
The wind howled. The weather was rather nice. The sky was blue. Boring.
Kerrick didn't notice somebody following him from a distance. Neither did he
hear his calls.
A few more minutes of walking, Kerrick looked at what looked like a collapsed
hill. The signs of digging were apparent. A small crack, or cave could be seen
near the base.
Kerrick walked to the edges of the cave, and felt the cave walls. Sturdy enough.
Kerrick peered outside. Shouldn't be too dangerous. Just a quick tour of the
place, to see what's inside.
Kerrick took one last look outside and walked inside the cave.
He was way out of hearing range.
What could go wrong?
