She offered her hand, a good-natured smile on her face.
And Darla was about to lose it, with her fist stuffed in her mouth to
stifle her giggles. She loved it when Sarilyn proved she wasn't one to
be messed with.

The roar of his friend's laughter ringing in K'rvey's ears was expected,
even in his drunken state. But he was confused. The girl wasn't drunk
and she had obviously turned him down. Yet a girl who's not drunk and
turns him down usually caused him some hurt before he fell down.
Sometimes he didn't even have the chance to fall down.
K'rvey blinked, and scratched his head. It just didn't make sense.
"J-you're aint gonna hit me?" he asked completely perplexed, looking at
her smiling face.
Sarilyn kept her smile and shook her head, "I'm not going to hit you.
Well not unless you give me a reason to."
K'rvey grinned like a buffoon and took the woman's hand. "Ah knew it!"
he cheered as he rose to his feet, "Aaahh knew it!"
"What did you know?" she asked patiently as she helped the would-be
Romeo keep his balance.
K'rvey wrapped his arms around the woman shoulders and leaned on her,
almost falling.
"I... I chnew you werrrre speCIal. Women... women hichts me all da
ti-time. D-dunno why... Jou lo-lo-love me don't chas?" he ranted as he
was pushed back up straight.
"Don't push your luck," she mused, "I just wanted to make a first good
impression."
K'rvey grinned again and wrapped his arm around her shoulders, "Welllll
bay-beee... I'm allll jooors. Whacha wanta know? This is harr is ma...
ma hommmme! I knowwww every littla thang."
