Trinale froze as she heard Pa'gan's voice. She looked over Derry's
shoulder at him as he approached.

"No" Trinale almost whispered it.

Women he loves? Trinale began to get angry at that moment. How dare he!
After what he had done tonight?

> "And I told you... Trinale does not wish to speak to you.  Which word didn't 
> you understand?  You have embarrased and scared her, which of course shows 
> the depth of your eternal regard, I'm sure.  Your lack of concern for her 
> feelings, beliefs and ideals has been excruciatingly obvious... and you say 
> that you love her?  Are you sure that you understand the meaning of the 
> word?"  Cool and cutting, Derry's voice dripped derision.  "And as it 
> happens, it is my buisness...  The fair Trinale has asked me took keep you 
> and your lovely lady away from her.  Until she decides that she wishes to 
> speak to you, I suggest that you care for the lady who needs you."

Trinale came forward. "Pagan...put him down!"

Pa'gan lowered Derry to the ground. "You going to talk to me?"

Trinale stepped inbetween Derry and Pa'gan and pushed Pa'gan, not even
caring that she didn't budge him, as angry as she was. "How dare you make
demands after the way you embarrassed me tonight? You say you love me? No,
you don't love me....If you did, you couldn't have treated me the way you
did! You just abandoned me after Aradia came, now you both think you can
just waltz in my life and scoop me up and take me to bed?" Trinale was
shaking she was so mad and she kept pushing at Pa'gan to emphasize her
words. "Well, you can't! I have founf someone else!" She moved next to
Derry and put her arm around his waist. "He cares about me! Now go! Go see
Aradia....she needs you...I sure don't!"

She stood there looking defiantly at him.
