Trinale stared after Pa'gan after Reekor teleported away. She didn't know
what to do. She had had no intention of yelling at him when he first
entered her office, but something about the way he had insulted the warren
got to her and she lost it. She understood that somehow she had accidently
insulted him and his cultures ways also, but she still didn't understand
how. If they had both just talked, maybe they could learn to understand
each other. If not, she didn't see how Aradia and him would be happy here.

Trinale turned and went back into her office.

*Lunch*

Trinale watched as aradia approached, slightly apprehensively. She
wondered if dragon gossip had carried tales of what had occured and the
fact that Pa'gan was no longer in the warren right now.

"Please sit down if you have time, Aradia. I would like to talk with you"
Trinale said. She then lay the dagger and Pa'gan's braid on the table in
front of her and
explained to Aradia what had occured in her office earlier that day.
"Please tell me what I did that was so wrong? And please tell me if he
will be alright."

Trinale looked imploringly at Aradia.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

After listening to Aradia, Trinale grew thoughtful. "I will have to think,
then we can talk again, ok?"

Aradia nodded.

Trinale then added "I am sorry for what I did last night." She looked at
Aradia's face and hung her head.

"Look, I don't know why I ended up kissing you, something happened and I
don't understand it..." Trinale looked up at her, her eyes wide and
slightly frightened "But I was scared, scared at what I was feeling. All
these new feelings are hitting me and I don't know how to deal with them."
Trinale knew this was no excuse, but she had no other "Please forgive
me..."

and Aradia can talk more later the next day

*Middle Afternoon*

Trunale's mouth curved into a smile as she heard Derrys voice after asking
who it was.

"Come in" she called out and stood to greet him.

Derry walked in, looking much more put together than he had been when she
had last seen him that morning.

"So, how is it going with your new hatchling?" Trinale smiled at him.

Derry groaned. "How can they eat so much....and so often!"

Trinale laughed. "get used to it, it'll last a few weeks until they stop
growing."

Trinale walked around the desk and sat on a chair near Derry and then took
his hand in hers. "Look, we need to talk......about last night...."

Derry interrupted "Don't worry, I won't hold you to what you said. I know
you
needed someone last night and I was the closest."

Trinale shook her head. "No, I meant what I said. I have feelings for you,
its just that they are such new feelings, I don't know for sure what I am
feeling." Trinale sighed, knowing she wasn't making any sense. "Look, I
guess what I am saying is that I know I feel something for you, but I need
to do some soul searching before exactly what. I mean, look what happened
last night because of misunderstood feelings."

Trinale looked into his eyes. "Am I making any sense?"

*Later*

Trinale was leaving her office when Daimon and Lord Fowler approached.

"Lady Trinale" Lord Fowler called out "Jennifer and Faith as well as your
sister, Lorlei appear to possibly be missing. Can you see what you can
do?"

Trinale looked at Daimon and Lord Fowler, both of them appearing to be
slightly worried. "Where have you searched?" she asked before becoming
more panicked.

Daimon explained where all he had searched while Trinale reached out to
contact Lute.

(Lute, have Lorilei, Faith, and Jennifer been around the hatchlings
today?)

(No, but Chrysthal says they were there earlier.)

(Ask Cali to get T'jellan and some of the others together please. The
children appear to be missing.)

She then turned to Daimon and Lord Fowler. "We are organizing a wing to
look for them. I am sure they will be found soon. Please, follow me and we
will search some of the favorite warren areas which Lorilei may have taken
them to."

Lord Fowler spoke up "I am going to have my guards ask around. I will
catch up to you later. Please inform me immediately if you find them."

Trinale nodded and then looked up at Daimon "Shall we go?"

*Dinnertime*

Daimon and Trinale sat down on a bench near the dining hall. They had
still not found the children and Trinale was beginning to get worried.

She turned to Daimon, about to suggest to him another area to look when a
wave of desire and heat spread throughout her.

"Oh....." she moaned slightly as Cricket trumpted her challenge and took
to the air "Cricket, not now....." but Cricket would not be denied and
soon ther male dragons were in a stream of bright colors behind her.

Trinale danced around among the men, teasing them as they clustered around
her, her body flushed with desire, swaying her hips unashamedly.

Cricket dodged the black Bruteth as he reached for her cockily "No way,
are you worthy! None of you are worthy!" Cricket screamed, but her scream
was cut short as a brillant blue dragon darted forward and grabbed her.
She struggled briefly, her wings pinned as they dropped and then stopped
resisiting. "You are worthy Fayloth". Fayloth let loose and both dragons
soared over the ridge, while the losers landed, disappointed.

Trinale felt herself being swung up into strong arms and she entwined her
arms around Sauls neck and her lips sought his....."Saul......" she moaned
in passion as he carried her away.
