Evilness Comes In Many Shades
Owlean had no worries that the little brat would open her mouth and tell her
father what had happened while he was gone. She'd read the kid right when
she offered up the treat about him sending her away. Cill really thought he
might.
That would work in well with her own plans for the morning. First she had to
come up with another reason to get K'leev out of the cave for a while and
then meet up with the buyer.
Once payment was made she would turn both kids over to Chanlar and then make
sure her tail was covered for when the dragonrider came back and found his
darling little brat gone!!
But that was tomorrow. Where was he tonight? Shouldn't he have been back
with the supplies by now?
Was that a sound she heard?
Yes! There it was again.
Seconds later the tall dragonrider came stumbling into the main chamber of
the cave. Owlean saw the dark spot on his shoulder right away, but when she
asked him about it he just blew her off and ordered her to find something to
clean it up with.
Moving across the room to where the small catch of medical supplies where
kept, she let her mind wonder over how he could have gotten the wound, and
realized that it had to have been made by a woman. A man would have used a
bigger knife.
So... he'd had himself a time while he was in town, she fumed angrily as she
took down the required items. Well that would have to stop! She was greedy
and didn't like to share.
"Well did you at lease remember to get the supplies we need?" she asked
coming up behind him. She could see where the small knife had entered his
flesh and began cleaning the area around it.
"I got um...they're out in the hall," he growled. "I'll get them later."
"So who was she?" Owlean couldn't help it. She was just finishing with the
knife wound and had attached a bandage to it when her jealousy got the best
of her.
"None of your business," he turned around and grabbed her, forcing her onto
the floor under him and began to use his hands to rip her dress aside where
it covered what he wanted.
It was some of the best sex they'd had, not that she minded his roughness.
It only seemed to make her own pleasure more intense. The only thing she
regretted was that the girl hadn't awoken and come to see what was going on.
Well after tomorrow she wouldn't have to worry about teaching the girl herself.
No after tomorrow the girl and Ojee would learn first hand what it was like.
Owlean only wished there was some way to get word back to that bitch
daughter of hers to let her know what had happen when it was all over.
Ojean
*******
They were at it again!
He could hear the sounds coming from the other side of the door. They
weren't anything like the sounds he'd heard coming from Saul and Shawnee's
room when he'd woke up and gone into the kitchen for something to drink a
time or two before.
Ojean knew what was happening. He knew that's what men and women do to have
babies... or just to show eachother how much they love each other. Saul had
explained it to him one time when he'd asked. But the sounds coming from the
other side of his cell door didn't sound like much loving was going on. It
sounded more like two animals mating.
Just like it had been when two of the canines from the Warren had mated.
But at lease they were leaving him alone. His eye still hurt where the big
man had hit him days ago. The only thing wrong was that *she* hadn't brought
him anything to eat tonight and he was hungry.
To keep his mind off of that he started thinking about his older sister and
how happy she had been since her and Saul had become mates. It was about
time something good happened to her, he thought remembering all the times
before they had come to the Warren. That time was over now, and with the new
baby coming... well ... he knew Shawnee loved him and Fawna, but he couldn't
help but think how she would feel when she had a baby of her own.
Would she love them less?
No. Not Shawnee. She wouldn't stop loving them when the baby came. She'd
make sure they knew that too...
Still, he thought... it'd be cool being an uncle! And he'd make sure he was
the best uncle that baby would ever had.
His tired little mind drifted off to sleep with that thought in mind. A
smile covered his lips.
Owlean
******
She was starting to panic inwardly, but outside her face was a mask of
calmness. No one could tell how nervous she was getting as she fixed
breakfast for them all. She needed to feed the boy. Something she had
forgotten to do after the dragonrider had arrived back last night had had
kept her mind on other things.
But this morning she would make sure he had a good breakfast. And then at
lunch again she'd feed both kids. The last meal she'd have to make either of
them if everything went well.
Her only problem was in getting the dragonrider out of the cave for a while.
When she'd suggested he go back into town and find out what was happening,
he'd put her off. Something had happened there and he didn't want or just
wouldn't tell her what, but she had guessed it had something to do with the
woman he had been with.
When she opened the door to her sons cell, she noticed the boy sitting on
the floor across the room. His arms were balanced over the top of drawn up
knees, but it was his blue eyes that drew her attention.
Hatred! That's what she read there. Towards her, his very own mother. For
some reason she'd never be able to figure out, it left her so shocked that
she set the tray down without saying a word to him and hurried back to the
other side of the door. Once there she made sure the latch was thrown and
the door locked behind her.
"I wonder why Cill still isn't up yet?" K'leev was saying when she brought
him the plate she'd fixed for him. "Shouldn't she be awake by now?"
"Well I don't think it's so strange love," Owlean purred in his ear as she
moved behind him and began rubbing his shoulders. Careful not to touch the
wounded area. "I had the two of them working hard yesterday gathering wood
and other things." She lied. "Maybe all that hard work just wore her out.
You should just let her sleep."
"Well maybe you're right," he said grabbing her hand and pulling her back
around to land in his lap. He position her body so that her legs straddled
his and then moving aside the few pieces of clothing in the way he entered
her with one quick thrust.
Her hands moved upward to open her shirt and then brought his head closer to
the spot where she needed his lips.
"Better than that whore you were with in town yesterday," she told him and
felt his teeth close down sharply over the hard peak of her nipple hurtfully
as if in punishment.
"Shut up woman," he grunted as his hands moved to her hips forcing her to
move her body in time with his every trust. "You talk to much."
Later she'd finally come up with a way to get rid of him for a short while.
Knowing that the Warren riders would still be out there looking for them,
she'd convinced him to take that dragon of his out and find someplace to
keep and eye out for any sign that their location had been found.
"If you see any dragon's come back quickly and get us," she told him. "I'll
have both kids ready to leave at the drop of a hat."
"Just don't go outside today," he warned her. "I don't want there to be any
chance of you being spotted from the ground. Someone could see you and
report it to the wrong people."
"Oh don't worry about us lover," she grinned, glad that her face was turned
away from his and he couldn't see the evilness in her face. ""We'll be fine
here today."
--------
"Where's my daddy?" Cill asked when she had finally gotten up the nerve to
come out of her room only to find the woman she hated alone in the cave.
"Gone," Owlean turned to smile at her. "And he won't be back for a while so
you just behave yourself and I won't have to tell him how naughty you are.
You wouldn't wan to have me tell him things that'll make him want to take
you back to the Warren would you?"
Cill didn't answer.
"Would you!" the woman asked again, this time her voice was cold and hard,
causing the young girl to flinch.
"No."
"Good then we understand each other," Owlean told her. One less thing to
worry about while she got things ready. Her buyer would be here soon and she
wanted the kids out of it before he arrived. That way they wouldn't cause
any trouble when they were loaded into the wagon and driven away.
After she'd received her payment of course.
Ojean had waited until her had hear the sound of the lock being thrown
before moving away from the wall he was leaning against and moved towards
the tray holding his food. He wanted to be strong and refuse to eat it, but
after missing his dinner last night, he couldn't.
Besides, he needed to keep his strength up just in case he found a way to
escape from here. At first he had believed his mother when she had told him
that she would send the dragonrider to hurt Fawna, but after thinking about
it, he realized that there was no way K'leev would be able to get back into
the Warren to do anything to Fawna.
Saul and Shawnee would be making sure the little Angel was kept safe and out
of harms way. Why they probably had someone with her at all times now
guarding her! No Fawna would be safe, so he started to think of a way out of
here.
While he ate he started to think about Cill, and felt a little guilty that
his escape plans didn't include her, but then it was her fault he was here!
Why should he worry himself about her anyway?
Because a small voice inside of him said, she was in danger if you leave her
here. No matter how much her father seemed to love her, he was a mean man
and he could turn on her just the same way his own mother had turned on him.
No he'd have to get Cill to go with him when he left. It was for her own good.
He knew his mother and knew the woman wouldn't put up with dragging two kids
around for long. No the sooner they got out of here the better. Now all he
needed was an opening.
Ojean wasn't sure how much longer he sat there in his cell before the door
opened again and Cill walked in carrying another tray. Breakfast hadn't been
that long ago.
"I thought you two might like to spend sometime together to ease the boredom
around here," his mothers smiling face stood by the door as the girl moved
into the cell room. "So I fixed a nice little lunch for the two of you and
you can eat it in here."
Ojean didn't say a word to her, but saw her shrug her shoulder as if saying
oh well, then watched as she shut the door behind them, locking the two of
them inside together.
"Oh Ojean!!" Cill cried and nearly dropped the tray, but he caught it just
as she slumped to the floor. "I never knew a person could be so evil!"
"What happen Cilly," he asked moving to sit beside her in the middle of the
room. "What did she do? Where's your ..father..?" he asked knowing something
had happened while he'd been locked away.
"I can't tell you," the girl cried softly but didn't fight him when he
wrapped his arms around her to offer comfort. "She'll tell my Da that I did
something really wrong and he'll send me away from him."
"Would that be such a bad thing?" he asked and couldn't keep the anger he
was feeling out of his voice.
"My Da is a good man," she told him angrily. "I just know he didn't do what
ever it was that they said he did to get him banished from the Warren."
"Your Da is a mean evil man!" Ojean told her without trying to hide his
feelings from her. "He tried to rape my sister! To mate with her when she
didn't want to and beat her up when she said no. Then he beat up Saul who
was only trying to defend Shawnee when your *DA* tried to hit her, and her
being with a baby inside her too! Don't tell me you never saw him hit your
Ma or be mean to her? Cause I won't believe you if you do!!"
"That's not true!!" she tried to move away but the young boy was strong for
his age.
"No... you think not?" he hissed, knowing his words were hurting her, but
knowing she needed to believe him if she was going to come with him or help
him when the time came. "Then ask him if you don't believe me! Ask him if he
ever tried to mate with my sister! Oh I'll bet he'll tell you some
cock-in-mammy story about how she asked for it... but you've seen the way
she acts around Saul? Anyone can tell how much she loves him. So why would
she want to mate with someone else?"
Cill's eyes filled with tears and Ojean started to feel bad because he knew
his words were hurting her. He reached out and pulled her to him, his arms
wrapping around her and him hand moving up and drawing her head close to his
chest in a way he'd seen Saul do to Shawnee. It always worked to calm his
sister down, so he was hoping it would work on Cill too.
"I'm sorry Cill," his voice was almost a whisper when he spoke. "I didn't
mean to hurt you. You're my friend and I wouldn't wan to hurt you for the
world, but you have to know what's happening. Tell you what... let's eat and
we can talk about it. Okay?"
"Okay." She said.
Owlean
*******
She'd given them an hour and then checked on them. Happy to find both brats
asleep in the middle of the floor, their half eaten lunch on the tray next
to them. They hadn't even known what had hit them.
After cleaning up the evidence of the meal, she made her way down the
passage way to the outside and gave the signal to let who ever was out there
waiting that the coast was clear.
Seconds later two men stepped into the clearing and came towards her.
"You got my payment?" she asked her buyer when he'd come to stand before her.
"Right here," he told her and handed her the bad filled with her money. "Now
where are the brats?"
"Inside," she told them and turned to walk back the way she had come. "They
won't give you any trouble." She laughed as she led them over to the door
leading into Ojean's cell, then stepped back to allow the two men to go
inside. "Something they ate must have made them sleepy."
After the kids were loaded into the waiting wagon, the buyer turned back to
the woman and his hand came up to slap her hard, sending her falling
backwards as she fell.
"Hey did you have to hit me so hard?" she cried from where she laid on the
ground.
"You want it to look convincing don't you?" the man leered and then reached
down and pulled her to her feet.
"I mean you don't want lover boy to start thinking that maybe you were the
reason his kid is gone do you?"
"No..." she answered and felt another sharp sting on her cheek just before
she felt the front of her blouse being ripped down the front and cruel hard
hands reaching to cup her beast.
"Hey this wasn't apart of the deal!" she cried in anger when the other man
had come up behind her and grabbed her arms.
"Deals changed a bit," the buyer told her smiling as his eyes took in what
his hands were doing to her naked chest. "We decided it would look more
conniving if you suffered a little."
"Get your rocks off somewhere else," she told them, but they were beyond
listening to her. She was forced to the dirt covered ground and her legs
were forced apart. All she could do was watch as the buyer reached to undue
his belt and then he was falling on top of her and his harness found his way
inside her body.
When he was finished with her, the two men traded places and her body was
filled again by the second man. Something about being taken by two men like
this always excited her. She was coming for the second time before the
second man could get off and then a third time when he finally filled her.
"You bastards," she muttered as she laid the with the second man still
covering her naked flesh.
"Yea, and you're a still a whore Owlean," the buyer laughed. "You enjoyed
that every bit as much as we did. Maybe when you finally dump lover boy you
can come back and work for me again. You still got it where it counts woman."
"Go to hell!"
Two rolled off of her and the two men pulled her to her feet and then led
her back inside the cave. They left her tied up and still half naked on the
floor in the middle of the room. A dark bruise was already forming in the
area around her right eye and blood trickled from a cut in the corner of er
mouth.
That was how K'leev found her several hours later when he and his dragon
arrived back at the caves.....
(well Kris I'll leave it up to you to decide how daddy dearest will take
finding his darlin' daughter gone:)
(Off in the back room of a bar somewhere in Marketa)
"He said the bidding was to begin tomorrow night," the young girl told the
man she had come to find. She didn't like him, mush less talking to him, but
he paid well for information and she knew after hearing he'd been asking
around about two young kids that he'd want to hear about this.
Besides the money being offered for their return would help to get her out
of this life and way from people like him forever.
"You're sure he said it was a young boy and girl?" the man asked gripping
her arms as he watched her face for any signs she was lying.
"I'm sure," she frowned. "I heard him talking to that man of his about
setting up for the show, and making sure his buyers received word about the
time. He told his man to make sure the buyers knew to bring lots of money
cause both kids were virgins and would bring a high price."
The man thought about it for so long the girl thought he'd forgotten she was
even in the room. She thought about leaving, but he still hadn't paid her
for coming here with this information and she really needed the money
tonight. Then just when she was about to give up and go he turned to her.
"Do you have any idea who will be there to bid on the kids?" he asked and
listenas she ran off a bunch of names. Some of which he knew, until she said
the name of a man who owed him more than a few favors.
"Okay, you did well bring me this," he told her and actually smiled at her.
"I'll see that you don't suffer because of it."
"I just want enough to get away from here," the girl told him. "I want to go
somewhere where he'll never find me and can't hurt me ever again."
The man nodded his head. "I'll see to it."
Then he turned and walked out the door. There was a dragonrider sitting at
the bar when he'd entered the back room. If he was lucky the man would still
be there.
He was and the man walked over and took the seat next to him. Turning so his
elbows leaned against the bar as he faced the room the man spoke in a tone
so low only the rider sitting next to him would hear him speak.
"If a man needed to get a message to a rider from Whiteriver Warren without
anyone being the wiser now would one do it?"
"Would how important the information was," the rider, a young man replied
without moving his head to look at the man sitting beside him.
"I need to get a message to Katla...just tell her Telven needs a word with
her at the usual place and to make it real quick like," the man raised his
hand to wave at someone across the room as he stood up. "Tell her time just
ran out and she has to act now."
Then before the rider could ask what he meant the man had walked off. He
waited for several minutes to pass then called out a farewell greeting to
the barman and left the bar.
