T'jellan felt his pulse rate jump as she responded to his hesitant kiss.
Her lips were sweet and he kissed her with more confidence and heat. The
original kiss surprised him as much as the intensity their kisses were
quickly growing to.

He felt her fingers entangling in his hair .. her body pressing up against
his .. he felt the passion behind her kisses And he wanted her. Rolling
slightly to the side his fingers began running over her body, pulling
clothing loose to get at her soft warm skin.

*Leave me alone!* a voice cried out in his head .. he froze, trying to
figure out where it was coming from.

But Ashelle, breathing heavily, brought his attention back to her, as her
hands began pulling at his heavy clothing and her lips found his again. He
moaned and pulled at her shirt, baring her breasts before him. His head
lowered to taste their sweetness ..

*Leave me alone!* the voice repeated, this time more familiar, and he
jerked up preparing himself for the words that would follow.

"T'jellan?" Ashelle asked suddenly worried at the pained expression that
covered his face. "What's the matter?"

He sat up looking at her with a glassy eyed stared, *Leave me alone! Find
someone *else* to replace Shawnee in your bed!*

".. Oh Gods .." he breathed.

"T'jellan .." Ashelle's voice persisted ..

"I .. I'm so sorry .. I .. didn't mean to .." his eyes focused on her,
"Ashelle, I didn't mean to hurt her .."

NRPG: For those who don't recall, those were the words Katla screamed at
him the morning after Satinka's mating flight :)

Jeanette, I think he's afraid he'll be using Ashelle .. just as Katla
accused him of using her. I know they've made up, but those words never
resolved themselves for the man.

BTW, I was watching the movie Willow the other day, and it dawned on me
that Airk, MadMardigan's friends  *IS* almost exactly how I would picture
T'jellan :) hehe!
