The dining hall was crowded with people coming to eat. He should have guessed as much, there is no way he would be able to talk to her let alone woo her in this noise. She handed him a plate and they walked to the serving tables. "It can be a bit noisy at times I guess, but they have alot to be happy about." She kept talking but he was distracted and could not really make out what she was saying. She should have spoken up a little.

He looked down and she was looking at him as if to get an answer. "I am sorry, but I did not hear what you said."

"I asked if you would like to meet some of the other riders?"

Har'son nodded and she walked over to a table. "You know, it is kind of noisy here, is there someplace else we can go?"

"Sure, we can go to the green and eat, it is usually quiet there." He followed behind her as she lead the way. He had to admit, though she looked young, there was every sign of womanhood on her. They stepped out of the dining hall and the noise fell of like an old coat.

"That is much better." He sighed with relief.

"You don't like it noisy?" The stepped on to the green grass in only a few moments. They found a soft spot to sit and eat.

"No, it is not that. It is just I would like to be able to talk with you."

She nodded and they sat. "So why don't you talk then, tell me about yourself."

"Well, as you know I am a sercher..." He shrugged not knowing where to start. "I was born and raised in a warren. My parents were riders, and they were both very good at it too. So it was no surprise when I joined. And ten years later, here I am still flying."

"How old were you when you joined?" She ate her food slowly.

"16." He picked up his mug and took a sip. "What about you. Tell me about yourself."

"I was not raised in a warren," She paused "but I had heard my brother was a rider and I left home to look for him. When I found him I accedentaly joined."

Har'son arched a brow. "On accedent?" She nodded. "Are you sure. I mean was it really an accedent? Or was it fate, driving you to the possision that was already for ordained you would fill."

"I have never thought of it that way." She looked thoughtful. "Things in my life did seem to play tward it."

"Of course, then again it could have been an accedent." He smiled and leaned back on the grass. The evening wind was cool, and the sun had already set leaving the stars to play on the black canvas of the sky. Some clouds drifted overhead like forlorn white spectors watching over the warren. "It would be nice an simple if we all had a grand destiny to fulfill. Some thing our lives would all lead up to."

    She sighed in response. "Yes."

"But the down side of it is, I would never fit into such an ordered world." He sat up. "You have a very good looking dragon, but how well can you fly it."

"I a very good." She looked at him a bit upset.

"Well, lets see how good, are you willing to wager on this?" He smiled shrewdly.
