[Sarilyn tries to find out what's bothering Ilara]

> Lunath glanced between Ilara, her dragon, and Sarilyn, then sent a soft
>nudge to her rider. << She's scared or worried about something, Erk says
>so. >>
>
> Sarilyn looked worried, and moved to whisper to Ilara. "what's the
>matter? and please don't say nothing, because even your dragon is
>worried. you can talk to me, if you want to go somewhere more private?"

<nrpg> I'm not totally sure 'when' this goes, but it oughta fit *grin*.

"Oh, Sarilyn..." Ilara stopped with hurt etched into her face,
that she'd actually tried to turn her away from what was bothering her.
"It's Carlynee... I'm missing Carlynee," she began. "There's so much we
have to talk about, and she isn't here," Ilara sighed, squeezing her
hands together and shrugging slightly. She didn't go much into her true
feelings, but Sarilyn could probably tell how much she cared about the
girl.

"You worry about her," Sarilyn noted, making a fine point.
Ilara had folded her arms over one another now, and briefly looked
distant, eyes darting about nervously. She nodded at Sarilyn's
observation.

"Well, yes... I mean-" Ilara seemed stuck for words, and
flushed a faint pink. "I just got worried suddenly, and had this bad
feeling all of a sudden." As if in cue, it returned, giving her cause
to shiver slightly. The alarm was instantly visible in her eyes.

"I fe... dread," she stuttered. "Black and... and heavy." She
struggled with it, and then it was gone as quickly as it came.

[Neryssa, at the dining hall, lunch-ish]

<Hey Oli, what you having for lunch?> she thought as she picked
out something with her sense of smell.

<Still digesting it,> was the humorous reply from the huge dark
dragon outside.  <Love, you remember->

<How could I forget?> Neryssa smiled as she set herself down
with her meal, ready to tuck in. <Look, any dragon takes off on a
mating flight, I'll be fine, mmm? Just you do your bit and I'll... well
I'll...> She lost her train of thought as a gorgeous redhead, not too
tall, sat opposite her. Neryssa tried to look away quickly, but her
reaction was pretty difficult to miss.

<Hey now Ner,> Oliathan smirked outside. <That one only just
Joined. Tasty-looking dragon she's got, mind.> He was quiet afterward,
seemingly in contact with

<Who just Joined too, remember?> Neryssa grinned, oblivious to
the girl for the moment. She kept sneaking glances at her over her
lunch. Eventually Ner caved in and offered a greeting, placing a warm
hand on the girl's wrist. She got a small smile back, but nothing more.

-Tag Bridget. If it doesn't help, welll... I tried *grin*-

Bio for Neryssa, Dragonrider at Xylian Warren

Name: Neryssa
Sex: Female
Age: 22
Appearance
Short curly blonde hair, dark blue eyes. Very petite, just over five
feet, but with a good firm build.

Neryssa was warrenborn, and because of her size, speed and stamina, made
for a good scout. This was only improved on when she was by chance
Joined to a little black hatchling who'd wandered for a bit, searching
for his bond-mate. She's shy around female dragonriders, mostly because
she knows what happens when a dragon rises to mate, and isn't too
comfortable with it even after a good eight wins.

Bio for Oliathan, Dragon at Xylian Warren

Name: Oliathan
Sex: Male
Age: 6
Appearance
Huge jet-black dragon, with an impressive build.

Flies far too fast, but is agile. A little arrogant about his ability
in the air, but unfortunately suffers from blocked passageways every now
and again, which means his fire-breath is unreliable.

Doesn't boast much about mating flights, at least not as much as his
rider is always claiming he does.
