<Day everyone gathers at the Tellari estate - lunch time>

The dark headed, slightly plump dragon rider landed on Xylian soil for the
first time in well over a month. It was good to be home. Especially after
all the things he'd seen on his travels. It was his job to traverse the
treacherous pockets of the dragonlands to carry news between the Warrens.
He took a week long trip ever couple of months. This one had been much
longer as there was much more to tell the normal.

He had been chosen as his dragon Willen seemed to have an extrodinarily
accurate teleporting skill. He liked the travel as well, being somewhat of
a loner anyway.

<Tell Query we have returned and I need and audience with Rhia.>

<She's having lunch in her office and invites you to join her.>

<Thanks, Willen.>

He headed off toward Rhia's office, knocking when he arrived there.

"Come in."

He pushed through the door, "Good afternoon,  Lady Rhiannon."

"You've been gone much longer then usual, Gor'd is everything all right."
Rhia asked.

Gor'd moved to the front of her desk, "I have a lot to tell you. Both good
and bad."

Rhia frowned, "Start with the Bad."

"Ismene Warren was attacked."

"Vignette?" Rhia asked quickly, worried about the Dragonlady.

"She's fine. She escaped to Jasra and is determined to rebuild Ismene."

Rhia smiled slightly, "She is a determined woman."

"Aye, she is." His face darkened a bit. "There was also an assignation
attmept on Jasra's new warrenlady, Evelle."

"Jasra has a new Warrenlady?" Rhia asked, "I thought it was closing."

"It almost did. This is where the story becomes  a bit complicated. A large
pocket has been located to the east of us. It is at least ten times larger
then any of the pockets we've ever known. It seems it was also a very
stable pocket and is the home to 7 long standing warrens."

"Seven?" Rhia said in surprise. There were only five known warrens in all
of the dragonlands.. and now that number had more then doubled.

"Seven longstanding warrens, each spanning back at least a thousand years
of recorded history .. and one newly started. Only a year old."

"Eight!" Rhia exclaimed, "Eight warrens never before known .."

"And they are all thriving. Aparently that large pocket has been very
stable up until recently. They are 8 very interconnected warrens, with
their own dragonlady." Gor'd let that settle in before continuing. "It
seems they have more then enough queenriders to go around and sent one of
them to save the dying Jasra."

"And she's been attacked already?"

Gor'd nodded, "Yes, unfortunately."

"Have you been to any of these new .." Rhia chuckled, "well not so new
Warrens?"

"Yes, I've been to several. They are much like ours .. some bigger.. some
smaller. And teleporting between them is much simplier as it is one large
expanding pocket, rather then several smaller ones that shift constantly as
we have here."

"I take it, you like that."

Gor'd shrugged, "Well, I would like to explore them more. But I'd been gone
so long, I thought I should return and report."

"I'm very glad you did, Gor'd. You said there was good news."

"Oh yes, " Gor'd smiled, "A queen egg has been laid at Epion!"

NRPG: Just a short one to send out some information about some things going
on in other warrens. Being that each of the Five warrens in the Lost DL (of
which Xylian is one) are so seperated by the pockets, I would figure it
takes a little time for this infomation to get around. Actually this
probably should have been there long ago, but I'm playing with fluid time a
little here :)

And there definitely is an assassin out killing Warrenladies in our area of
DL... Poor Rhia ;)

As far as the good news .. Epion is an NPC warren, so I just made that up :)

I'll have Gor'd pop up once in a while to spread more gossip :):) He'll
probably stay in Xylian for a while, so if anyone wants to prod info about
the various warrens, feel free to talk to him. Being I keep up with most of
them, I can spread lots of gossip:) I imagine Gor'd has become quite good
at storytelling :)
