[NRPG: Kris said that I could have Lunath bring Billy and Sarilyn
back...it has to do with something that James has planned for Billy.
Thanks, Kris! ]

Lunath had agreed to Quentil's stipulation about letting him go...and
almost sorrowfully launched to head back to the cave. She landed, shocked
at what she saw there, and keened sadly along with the rest of the
dragons...before heading towards Sarilyn and Billy.

<< Let's go home, love. I've been worried about you. Let me take you
and Billy away from here. >>

Sarilyn hugged Lunath, and Billy smiled as they moved to mount. "I'm
wanting to feel my own bed again, Billy...and I want to see my friends
again. Let's go home."

Billy hopped behind her, and Lunath launched quickly...teleporting
immediately to the air over Xylian.

Sarilyn looked on with shock as she saw what was going on. She watched
quietly, knowing that Ce'lot was able to handle Sherri.

> "Sherri Tellari!" Ce'lot roared loudly to get the woman's attention.
>
> She turned and smiled evilly at him. "Not you again. Well come here and let
> me show you how to really fight."
>
> She circled him jabbing at him with her blade. "You're crazy." Ce'lot said.
>
> "No I'm angry. I was driven from my home.. watched my riders die at the
> hands of yours .. Now you'll pay .." She lunged at him, but he was on guard
> and dodged in plenty of time.
>
> He continued to dodge from her attacks, watching for his chance to knock
> the weapon from her hands. But he couldn't seem to get close. Luckily she
> wasn't getting close to him either.
>
> Then she made a mistake .. he saw it and reached in grabbing her wrist,
> attempting to remove the dagger from her.
>
> But he recognized his mistake only when he felt the sharp pain in his
> belly. He staggered back gripping his front which was quickly becoming
> drenched in blood. He gasped, spitting blood as he fell to the ground,
> quickly losing consciousness.

<< Lunath.....get ready to dive, love. Quietly! >>

< SNIP: Chai shows up. >

> "What is that dragon doing here.. Get her out of the way!"
>
> But moving a dragon .. even one as small as Chai'lynn wasn't easy. And
> Chai'lynn would not be moved. She concentrated and hummed softly ..
>
> Nineve watched in shock as color started to come back to Ce'lot's face,
> and his breathing evened out.
>
> "Nineve .." the voice of her junior healer brought her attention to where
> he sat perched over the patient, "The bleeding .. it's stopped."
>
> She nodded, every eyes trailing to where the ice blue dragon lay .. her
> color looked faded .. dull. And she'd stopped her humming. Ce'lot's dragon
> had stopped keening and settled down wrapping his body around that of the
> tiny blue.
>
> Nineve shook herself gently, "Let's .. get him to the med center .." Even
> as they brought the carrier over, she threw another look back at Chai'lynn
> ..
>
> Britche
> ***
>
> <You did it .. My rider is stronger ..> he hugged the little dragon.
>
> <He still feels sick .. but .. I'm so tired ..>
>
> <It's all right. He won't die .. and it's all because of you ..>

"Billy..that's Chai down there! What's going on? Hang on....this is
too much!"

  << NOW, love...dive hard! >>

Lunath went into a steep dive, forcing both riders to hold on tightly,
and came to a landing near Chai. Sarilyn let out a bellow...loud enough
to get anyone's attention that was near enough to hear...or that hadn't
run from the flaming red rogue.

"SHERRI TELLARI! Come out here! This has gone on long enough! We need
to talk, now!"

She remained on Lunath's back, and didn't care how she looked...having
just gone through the mating flight of her dragon. But the time had come
to quit being a little girl. Her friends and dragons had been hurt, and
others had been killed. She wondered where Rhia was?
