Sarilyn tossed and turned, her visit to the trial making her restless,
and unable to sleep.  Finally she rolled over and got up...padding back
and forth, trying to think.  She needed to talk to someone...but who?
Billy was nervous, everyone else was asleep...or were they?

  < Lu, ask Erk if Ilara is still awake, will you, please? >

  < She is...she's not able to sleep well either. >

  Grabbing a robe, and not even worried that all she had on underneath it
was her sleep shift, Sari headed for Lunath, and after climbing up and
strapping in, had her dragon launch...and head for Ilara's apartment.

  Lunath landed quietly, and offered a soft croon to Erk.  Then settled
down as Sari unstrapped and dismounted.  Then she headed inside being
quiet.

  "Ilara?  Lu said you weren't able to sleep either?  Are you up?"

  Ilara turned, from pacing back and forth...and a smile crossed her face.
"Sari!  I was thinking you'd forgotten all about me.  I haven't seen you
much lately."

  Sarilyn sighed softly, and flopped onto the edge of the bed.  "I'm
sorry, Ilara...so much has happened.  I have been asked to go to court, to
testify at the trial of Sherri Tellari.  I've been worried about what this
will do to Billy, and how he'll feel towards me, and oh good grief....the
nightmares too.  I'm a wreck.  I just wanted to come talk to you.  If I'm
bothering you, I can leave."

  Ilara headed over to sit next to Sarilyn and gave her a soft
hug...trying not to be too pushy...and almost failing totally.  "You
aren't bothering me at all. I'm glad you thought you could come to me.  We
can talk for a while if you want to."

  Sarilyn looked at her other close friend...and was so touched at the
understanding.  She leaned her head against Ilara's shoulder, and started
to cry.  "I just need....a friend right now, Ilara....I'm sorry."
