*Belarade*

"Belarade?...."

The voice pulled her back up from underneath the heavy blankets of her slumber and she shifted before opening her eyes slightly.

<Bella....> Menia sang out to her. <I believe we have company...>

She sat up and brushed back a few strands of her red hair that had fallen forth into her face as she studied the outline of her visitor's form silhouetted against the mouth of the cave.

"Bella...hey.." the person took a few more steps closer and the orange glow from the fire cast a light on the trademark golden hair.

"Ce'Lot..." she smiled drowsily.

"I can come back...." He whispered. "I didn't know if you were still sleeping or not..."

"No...no..." Belarade shook her head. "Please stay...I need to get up anyway... What time is it?"

"Just past- oof!"

"Oh my....are you okay?" she fought back a small grin and reached down to help him up from where he lay sprawled out on the floor after tripping over a stack of books. "I've been meaning to pick those up...I just haven't quite found the right spot for them..."

"Well...might I suggest...somewhere other than the floor.." Ce'Lot smiled, but she could tell as he scanned around her apartment at the piles of leather bound journals, rubber-banded papers, and dusty books that he was less than pleased with the state of her dwelling.

"You're right...I know.." she nodded and apologized as she cleared a path for him to her sofa and then set some papers on the floor for him to sit. "I'm sorry... I need some shelves, but maybe since we're back I can try to get half way settled."

He nodded some and glanced over at his dragon, who had all ready made his way over to Menia's sandy pit.

"I'm glad you came by... I had thought you might be too busy..." Belarade started slowly.

"No Bel..." Ce'Lot shook his head and ran a hand back through his hair. "I couldn't get here fast enough. I would have gotten her sooner, had Britche not insisted on a bath," he chuckled some.

"A bath? It's so cold outside though...." Bel shook her head. "Didn't you freeze?"

"No not at all...it wasn't bad...."

"How was your meeting with Rhia?" she reached over for his hand and twined her fingers through his carefully.

"Fine...it went, actually, better than expected. She took the news of our trip to Lotherra quite well," he nodded.

"Good...I'm glad...I was worried..." she paused for a moment. "I didn't want you getting in trouble."

An uncomfortable lapse in the conversation hung over them until Belarade cleared her throat and started again.

"I have something for you..." she smiled.

"Something for me?" Ce'Lot grinned and she nodded. "Why?"

"Oh...just a silly little thing that we used to do in Lotherra.... Something that my family has done for centuries around this time of year.." Belarade answered casually as she walked over to a corner of her apartment and started looking around, throwing books left and right. "We would all exchange gifts.."

<Oh Bel! Not that silly story about that Santa-man again!> Menia groaned.

<Hush up!> Belarade answered irritably as she continued to search. "Oh here is it," she finally smiled and held the book up before walking back over to the sofa. "Here..." Bel opened up the small tome listening to it's bind crack. "It's one of my favorites...see how the pages are all dog-eared," she laughed a little searching for a certain passage.

"They are letters....that this man, a poet, wrote to someone who was learning how to write. Anyway..." she shook her head some. "I thought that maybe you would like to read it; it's very good....and I don't know..." she blushed a little. "I used to read it before I went to bed at night...You might think it's mushy though..."

Belarade tucked an auburn wave behind her ear before crossing her legs Indian style on the sofa and settling the volume in her lap as she read. *"To love is good, too: love being difficult. For one human being to love another: that is perhaps the most difficult of all our tasks, the ultimate, the last test and proof, the work for which all other work is but preparation."

"You probably don't like it-" she shut the book and looked up at him, startled at the closeness of his face.

"No...I liked it...Thank you very much..." he took the book from her and set it aside before pulling her back in his arms, his lips quick to press against hers and Belarade shifted into his lap, straddling herself across him as she answered the kiss feverishly.

"I want you...." She murmured, surprising herself at the passion in her pleading whisper.

Carefully, she took his hand and led him back over to her bed, her eyes locked to his as she pushed down on his shoulders, urging him to sit just on the very edge. Her fingers fumbled with the buttons on her pajama top before letting it fall back off of her form.

Belarade muffled a gasp from Ce'Lot with a deep kiss as his hands traveled up over her stomach to cup a soft breast. Her hands grabbed his shirt and pulled it apart, spilling buttons on the cave floor while their tongues tangled. She quickly removed his pants, kissing a hot trail down his chest and then even lower.

"Gods Belarade...." He moaned while his hands guided her in her gentle explorations of his body before they grabbed her up underneath her arms and pulled her over him.

Bella settled her gaze on his face as she sank down on his body; still bewildered over her sudden boldness. But such a heat had spread through her entire being! It was as if, she was leading him, and she certainly was in control of every ounce of pleasure he was receiving....all with just a small thrust of her hips. The looks of lust and passion that he cast upon her form empowered her and renewed her growing confidence in her body's actions. She caught her breath slightly as she felt him enter deeper into her and she bit down on her lower lip until both of their bodies began moving in perfect synch with the other's.

"I love you...." She whispered, as she leaned over him, her red hair cascading down around both of their faces.

*B'Lin*

Lunch had went well with Lecia's mother, he was certainly wracking up the brownie points and as he could have predicted, little lovely Lecia was enraptured with him.

"So....a tour of the warren....lunch....What shall we do next?" he grinned a little and turned to her, letting his eyes casually drift lower to the cleft of her breasts.

"I don't know...." She answered coyly, batting her eyes slightly.

B'Lin laughed some. Oh, all the women wanted him...was there ever a doubt that he wouldn't be able to bag 'hero's' baby sister.

In a seemingly sweet gesture, he reached down for her hand as they walked along below the living quarters of the dragonriders. He let his sapphire eyes scan the first few floors before narrowing them as a flash of a splotchy off white tail could be seen in the mouth of his sister's cave. B'Lin gritted his teeth and unconsciously gripped Lecia's hand a little tighter.

"B'Lin...." She whined some as she tried to pull her hand away.

"Ah....sorry...." he pasted a sympathetic look on his face and reached back down for her hand and planted a kiss on it. "I....was thinking of something else...my mind drifted....and sometimes I don't know my own strength," he boasted.

<Oh please...> he could hear Glay groan in his mind.

<Butt out!> he snapped before shutting the dragon out of his mind and stepping closer to the young woman in front of him.

"Your hair...." He whispered as he tangled a strand gently around one of his fingers. "Is such a lovely shade....and so soft..."

B'Lin leaned in slightly and breathed in deeply the scent of her tresses before murmuring just beside her ear. "The sun on it just now....I couldn't help but think of how beautiful you were..."

He smiled a little smugly as he felt Lecia shudder some in response and he pulled back to run his eyes over her face before leaning just a little to press his lips against hers.

"I'd love to get to know you better Lecia....would you like to come up to my apartment.. The view of the warren from there is quite a sight."

Respectfully submitted,
Belarade and Menia
B'Lin and Glay

<NRPG: Okay....my second little 'erotic' post for Xylian :)...and I don't have a lot of experience with them, so if it sounded a little jerky that's why. It didn't seem to flow well when I was reading over it.

Kris, If Ce'Lot doesn't watch it, Belarade is liable to bust out into singing "I am woman, hear me roar" HA! She's definitely learning that sex is a powerful tool in any relationship and I'm trying to figure out how that's going to affect her.

Also, the little passage she quoted is not an original from me, gods, I wish it was and that I could write like that. It's from my favorite book "Letters to a Young Poet" by R.M. Rilke, who is absolutely fabulous if you like reading that sort of thing.

And B'Lin......well who else would use a line like that to get a girl up to his apartment? Poor Lecia. >

"How could we forget those ancient myths that stand at the beginning of all races, the myths about dragons that at the last moment turn into princesses?
Perhaps all the dragons of our lives are princesses who are only waiting to see us just once beautiful and brave . . ."
- R.M. Rilke
