>"Billy, I'm scared! My father may be in big trouble, and I sent the
>messenger back to warn him, and tell him I got his message, and..." It
>all came out in a rush, the whole story. By the time she was done, she
>was shuddering as if she was half freezing, and trying to talk around
>hiccuping sobs.

>"Please, don't leave me alone right now. I'm scared to be alone!"

Billy held Sarilyn close as she sobbed into Billy's shoulder. Tears
threatened to spill out of his eyes and down his cheeks as his heart went
out to Sarilyn. Not knowing what to say he simply held Sarilyn tight.

<Reassure her Billy!> prompted Chai.
<What shall I say?> replied Billy.
<Use your imagination numbskull!>

"Everything will turn out ok Sarilyn. Rhia said she'd help your dad if he
asked. Now that you've told Rhia, she'll tell the duchess and things will
sort themselves out." said Billy.
"My dad would never ask the warrenlady for help, let alone sanctuary."
Said Sarilyn. Billy thought for a while.
"Well we *could* go and find him." said Billy. Sarilyn sat up and wiped
her eyes.

"What about Lunath and Chai?" she asked, chewing her lower lip and
frowning slightly, the thought of leaving Lunath was obviously not a nice
thought.
"Well Lunath is flying now isn't she?" asked Billy, and seeing Sarilyn
nod carried on "Well Chai must be ready to fly, why not fly out together?
I'm sure Rhia wouldn't mind, after all it is your father you'll be trying
to find, and he did warn her about this strange lady with dragons and
Lord Lothar and Meradh."

<Cool idea Billy!> said and enthusiastic Chai. <I can't wait to fly,
especially with Lunath!>

Sarilyn sat back and attempted to flash a grin.
"Thanks Billy." said Sarilyn.
"What for?" asked Billy
"For, well for being you. For being someone to talk to who cares." Billy
reached out to stroke Sarilyns hair as he ran his hand through her hair
his hand briefly touched Sarilyns soft cheek.

A shiver of delight shot through him, and on impulse he leaned forward
and kissed Sarilyn on the cheek. A murmur of pleasure escaped Sarilyn and
Billy kissed her on her soft, warm lips.

>Ilara patiently waited for a reply to her knock before turning
>the handle, and concernedly said first, "I heard something was up and
>wanted to stop by. Are you alright Sarilyn?"

>She noticed Sarilyn had company as she stepped in, and suddenly
>got terribly nervous... not knowing whether she'd said anything about
>what they'd shared. Her throat dried and she managed a shy, "Hi Billy."

Billy sat back with a huge grin across his face, his bright blue innocent
eyes shining. He totally missed the bright crimson which had flooded onto
Saryilns cheeks.
"Oh hi Ilara, how are you? Did you have a good time with Sarilyn?" he
asked in a rush, innocently.

We shall not cease from exploration
And in the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.
