[Late afternoon on the day of the trial, once it has finished]

Billy was wandering the halls of the palace, Rhia had left for the warren. 
Billy hadn't seen Sari since he had told her the bad news and they had had a 
huge argument.

Billy felt very lost without Chai there to comfort him. He turned a corner 
and bumped into Michael. The freshly cleaned and pressed dress Michael had 
been carrying went flying.
"Shit." said Michael. "Oh hi." Michaels scrowl changed into a smile at the 
sight of Billy.

"Hi." said Billy cheerign up at the sight of the good looking young man.
"You look as if you have had a bad day." said Michael.
"Yeah you could say that."
"Look I have a few more hours on shift what are you douing after that?"
"Well I thik the rest of the warren contingent have gone back to the warren. 
Rhia said that the Duchess wanted to see me before I left and that S'dan 
would pick me up this evening."
"Cool, we could have a couple of hours together then." said Michael winking.

A young page ran up to Billy.
"The duchess would like to see you immediately." said the page. Billy 
nodded.
"See you later then." said Billy to Michael.

"I am glad you could see me Billy." said the duchess.
"My pleasure M'am."
"I just wanted to asy that I am sorry about your mother, some how I feel 
responsible and if there is anything I can do for you you just have to ask."
"Thank you your grace."
"I understand from talking to Rhia that you are training to be a healer."
"Yes M'am."
"Well, we have some highly trained healers here at the palace, I could 
arrange it so that you could spend some of your time here at the palace 
training with my personal physician. I am sure that you could find it very 
useful. Of course I would have to clear it with the Warren Lady, but I am 
sure that Rhia would have no objections."
"Thank you your grace that would be excellent."
"And I am sure that with a bit of coaching we could make a courtier out of 
you yet." smiled the Duchess.

NRPG - The best I can come up with. As I haven't heard from Jeanette I had a 
guess that Sarylin and Billy had an argument after he dumped her.
