[Narrative]

In all my travels, across the lands,
I'd maybe stop, but never be lost.
It's a different journey now, and I feel that this time,
I need directions, but there's no stopping the path.


[Near the lake - Ilara summons unspoken memories]

Ilara was confused.... for so long she'd heard the thoughts of her bond-
mate, that it had become almost second nature to her.  Now, she knew
again what it was like to be unjoined.  Certainly not, to be 'ordinary'
- in the many months she'd been here, Ilara had discovered that she
could do more than just what was needed to survive.  She was irrevocably
changed by her experiences here, a lot of them positive.... maybe she'd
gained more than most would have!

"Ilara.... Ilara, are you alright?" Lecia was asking her.

She nodded almost absently.  It was true.... she didn't feel distressed,
just sad to see and feel her beloved Erkvinen leaving her.  "Lecia, tell
your.... Sadie.... her mother loves her very much.  All of her
hatchlings, but...."

Ilara looked at the copper dragonet as she finished, "Sadie was the one
she worried about the most."  She smiled fondly, remembering unspoken
arguments about what was more important for a new hatchling - Erkvinen
who'd already brought more than one into the world, and Ilara who was in
the middle of doing so.

Kris: Just trying to keep the ball rolling really.... my ideas are
coming in fits and bursts right now ;)  Nothing new there *grin*.

A few of you haven't posted for a while.  If there's an RP-related
problem stopping you, then let someone know.... else you can't be
helped.  Three players alone can't pull the rest of the unit along
forever.... and I don't mean to offend - that's how it *is*.

If you want to make another go of it, good on you!  I'm not going to
hold anything against people who try.  If you sincerely don't want to
make such an effort, then have the courtesy to say so - privately if you
wish - and you can do as you see fit (not that you couldn't have
already).

I simply feel that we have enough talent, ability, and experience
between us all, to turn out an enthralling and enjoyable story, and yet
lately we have very little to show for it.  That's all :)

Well, think about it, anyway.  I'll probably be posting this time next
week if I can think what to write *grin*....
